Hey People!

Good evening!

I am writing this a little bit before I go to church. I had a OK day. I was a little depressed this morning cause of drama in my life. I wish life didn't have drama! lol It does though and it always will. We have to learn to deal with it. We can get upset at all the stress in our life but the truth of the matter is if we don't let go of our stress it will bit us in the end.....not the behind.....the END! lol I encourage you all(or for you southerners, "All y'all") to read your Bibles and pray a little bit each day. Not just for yourself but for other people too. I have seen in my life and walk with God that if put God first He will put you first. Think about that one! Any who...*To himself* How on earth did I get off on that????

Any who, I thank God for His wonderful blessing in my life! He is SOOOOOO GOOD!! I don't know where you are in God right now but I hope you get as close to Him as you can. He will change your life...

I was talking with one of my friends today and I got to thinking. We are God's children correct? Why do we beg Him for stuff? We are like, " God please just do this for me! God I need you to do this," or that or whatever your prayer is... Hey y'all lift up your heads and go on and ask! He(meaning God, in case you were wondering) Will answer all that you ask. The Bible says that you have not because you ask not. It also says to ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be open unto you. So ask people!! ASK! God said it and we need to believe it.

I also know that we tend to think of everything that we need before we do what God wants. We need to live our lives as a thank you to Him for what He did on that cross.


Well I got to go to church so I will ttyl!

Hello Everyone!

My name is Seth Murphy. I am a pastor's son from Oregon. I started this blog in hopes of encouraging teens through my experiences and believe me there have been many. Please feel free to read my posts and see if my stories and testimonies help you.

We all make mistakes. Teens like me struggle with so much nowadays. Worldly influences are everywhere. They are on the radio, the TV, the Internet, at school, wherever it is teens are faced with peer pressure like never before. The pressure to fit in.The pressure to have abortions, cut themselves, drink,do drugs,shack up, commit suicide and the list goes on and on! Depression is on the rise. I know. I've been there. I also know that where there is a temptation God always makes a way of escape. Face it....you cant afford to make those stupid mistakes. God doesn't want you to and neither do I....I have made my share of mistakes but I thank God that His mercies are new every morning! His Grace is abundant! So lift your head up cause you are His child! Can I get an Amen?? Thank you...

OK! OK! Enough preaching for one day! lol I want you teens to know that you have a friend....and no its not me that I'm talking about! lol I'm talking about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He can change your world and turn it upside down. He can make everything right. Will it be easy? NO! Was it easy for God to die for you? NO but He did! And I think we should give every once of us back to Him for it. Amen? lol

We get so rapped up in ourselves and what we think. We need to start thinking about what He thinks. I encourage you to pray and read the Word. You will find the answers you seek. God is faithful and just. Just look to Him.
